Jason, Anne Marie and their team welcome you to The Carlton Inn.
The Carlton Inn Owners, Anne-Marie & Jason Sargent started their story in 2008 at ‘The Snug Restaurant’ in Easingwold. They created ‘The Snug’ from scratch, and soon built it into a thriving business frequented by locals and tourists alike. Previous to this Anne-Marie was Head Chef at The Corner Cupboard, Birdforth, and Jason a life-long baker & confectioner at Clarks of Easingwold. After 4 years at ‘The Snug’ they felt ready for a new challenge on a larger scale, so when they found ‘The Carlton Bore’ on the market, they knew it was the perfect place for their next venture.
They changed the name back to the original ‘The Carlton Inn’, and their vision was to get it back to the busy, successful local pub and restaurant it once was many years ago.
With the generously portioned, locally sourced, reasonably priced menu, and warm welcome, we feel they have achieved this.
Jason leads the welcoming, professional front of house team, many of which can be recognised from The Snug, and our local village.
